Have you ever missed any good opportunity ? What was you feeling like, later in life ? Missed opportunities can be incredibly painful, as they represent the road not taken, and the potential that was never realized. While rejection is certainly not easy, there's something about missed opportunities that may hurt even more as the regret remain life time. When we miss out on an opportunity, it's not just a matter of feeling disappointed or sad. We also experience a sense of regret, knowing that we could have done something differently or taken a chance that we were too afraid to take. It's a feeling of having let ourselves down, of not having lived up to our potential, or having failed to seize the moment. Rejection, on the other hand, can be seen as a clear-cut decision that someone else has made. While it may sting, you can still be satisfied if at least you did your best and that the outcome was beyond your control. With missed opportunities, however, we often feel that the outcome was entirely within our control, and that we simply didn't make the right choices. Missed opportunities will be more painful when it involve long-term consequences than rejections. A rejection may simply be a temporary setback, while a missed opportunity can have far-reaching implications for our lives and our future. We may never have the chance to make up for that missed opportunity, and the sense of regret can linger for years. So what can you do to avoid missed opportunities? 1. Stay open to new experiences: Willing to step out of our comfort zones and try new things. By staying open, we create opportunities for growth, learning, and connection that we might otherwise miss. 2. Keep an eye out for potential opportunities: Opportunities can come in all shapes and sizes, so it's important to be alert and aware of what's happening around us. Pay attention to the people, events, and situations in your life that might lead to opportunities. 3. Be proactive: Don't wait for opportunities to come to you – create them yourself! Take the initiative to reach out to people, try new things, and explore new ideas. 4. Take calculated risks: Opportunities often involve some level of risk, but it's important to weigh the potential rewards against the potential downsides. Sometimes taking a chance is worth it, especially if it could lead to significant growth or a major breakthrough. 5. Learn from mistakes: Everyone misses opportunities from time to time, but it's important to learn from these mistakes and use them as a springboard for growth. Identify what went wrong, and use that knowledge to make better decisions in the future. 6. Prioritize what matters most: Not all opportunities are created equal, so it's important to focus on the ones that are most aligned with your goals, values, and priorities. By prioritizing, we can make the most of the opportunities that come our way and avoid getting distracted by ones that don't really matter. Missed opportunities can be painful reminders of the importance of living life to the fullest, and of seizing the moments that matter most. While we can't change the past, we can learn from our mistakes and make a commitment to living with intention, openness, and courage. By doing so, you can priorities opportunities, minimize the number of missed opportunities in your life, and maximize the potential for growth, happiness, and fulfillment, because its U@core.

“Never afraid to be different, afraid to be Similar” What comes to your mind when you read this ? Are you different or part of crowd or try to be part of crowd ? A decade ago, I visited my son’s school (DPS-South) for PTM. I read this amazing quote written on a wall there, This got my attention and registered in my heart so deep that, I never forgot it. Sometimes in life, we may feel like we don't quite fit in or that we are different from the people around us. We might feel like we don't belong or that we don't understand why everyone else seems to be on the same page, while we are on a different one. But the truth is, being different is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it can be a wonderful thing. You are just different, and that is a good thing. You have your own unique perspectives, experiences, and ideas. You bring something special to the table that no one else can. Embracing your differences can lead to personal growth, self-discovery, and a stronger sense of identity. Because its U@core. You may have talents and abilities that others don't, or you may have a different way of approaching problems and challenges. Your unique qualities and quirks can be a source of strength and creativity. Of course, being different can also come with challenges. You may feel misunderstood or left out at times. But it's important to remember that everyone experiences challenges in life, and that your differences are what make you stand out in a world full of sameness. You are not alone, there are many people out there who share your differences and who have learned to embrace them. Seek out others who share your interests, passions, and values. Connect with them, learn from them, and support each other. Finally, being different is not something to be ashamed of. It's something to celebrate. So embrace your differences, embrace who you are, and know that you have something special to offer the world. You are a unique person with unique potentials, so untap your unique potentials because its U@core. Connect with me if you wish to uncover your brilliance. There are many reasons why people might be afraid to be different: 1. Fear of rejection: People may be afraid that if they don't fit in or conform to societal norms, they will be rejected by others. This fear of rejection can be a powerful motivator to conform. 2. Fear of failure: People may also fear that if they try something different or pursue their own unique path, they will fail. This fear of failure can be paralyzing and prevent people from taking risks. 3. Social pressure: Society often places a great deal of pressure on individuals to conform to certain expectations, such as dressing a certain way, having a certain job, or pursuing certain interests. This pressure can be difficult to resist. 4. Lack of self-confidence: Some people may lack the self-confidence to embrace their differences and pursue their own unique path. They may feel unsure of themselves and their abilities, and may not believe that they can succeed. 5. Lack of support: It can be difficult to be different when those around you are not supportive. If friends, family, or colleagues are not accepting of differences, it can be challenging to stay true to yourself. Overcoming these fears and pressures can be difficult, but it's important to remember that being different is a strength, not a weakness. It can lead to personal growth, self-discovery, and a stronger sense of identity. By building self-confidence, seeking support, and taking small steps towards embracing your differences, you can learn to celebrate what makes you unique and pursue your own path with confidence. Remember, it's not about being like everyone else, it's about being the best version of yourself, because its U@core.

Change is inevitable, and time and generations march on with new perspectives and practices. Leadership as a topic has been evolving over the decades with every new generation contributing a new way of thinking about it. I have seen the Command-and-Control leadership style - this has been the hallmark of the last generation of leaders. This idea of leadership was also conflated with the idea of “respect”. However, as our understanding of leadership expanded and matured, it became clear that there are different ways of giving and gaining respect other than the command-and-control style. The more formal “Sir” and “Madam” way of addressing superiors has been replaced in corporations: Bosses are now being addressed by their first names. Interactions between employees and their superiors have become more open and less constrained, resulting in a friendly and less formal work environment. Greater openness and more interaction between team members and leaders have given the team a place and a voice in the discussions and decisions. A more friendly manner of interacting has developed in corporate workplaces. I have witnessed the older style and have seen the changing, emerging perspectives of leadership. This change has been reflected by changes in societal norms as well. While the older style may still linger in the government bureaucracy and the political class, the workforce at large has adapted to the newer, less formal way of interacting. What is next in the realm of leadership is the question that came to me even as I reflected on the changes I saw. In this regard, a dialogue for annual review and personal development with a colleague last year was an awesome, eye-opening experience. I approached it differently: She and I engaged in a conversation in which I sought her perspective on how the previous year had been for her and what changes or developments in her career she looked forward to, and what needs to happen for those changes. This approach was experimental, and it struck me that engaging with colleagues to enable insights with the right questions led to a better outcome than recalling each failure and success and providing feedback on what went well and what needs to improve. This approach provided a much better outcome, which led to much more ownership being taken by the colleague and not being enforced by me. This experience seeded in me a vision of what could be inspirational leadership. I envision the leader as a coach. A leader who is also a good coach can understand and inspire the members of the team by his awareness of their unique qualities and strengths. In this way, leaders can inspire their colleagues to work to the best of their abilities, using their skills optimally. For this to happen, leaders must become good coaches. When leaders become coaches, the need for frequent monitoring and regular review can be dialled down as the team members function at their highest level. The word “Leader “then lends itself to the idea of leading oneself rather than others. An individual who can lead themselves can have an inspirational impact on others when he engages with the others within the coaching parameters. I visualize leaders with the skills to lead themselves into the best version of themselves and coach their colleagues into tapping their potential and performing at their highest. This vision if realized will effectively replace the command and review model of leadership. Further, I visualize coaching as a tool that can be used across all levels: team leader coaches colleagues in the team, and leaders engage each other in peer coaching at various levels. The coaching methodology can be used as an aid in reviews of mid-and senior-level leaders with top executives. In these situations, there are opportunities for the top executives to coach their mid-and senior- level colleagues to generate insights in place of the usual review in command approach. To my mind, an organization can optimize its performance by using the coaching approach extensively in review meetings, team meetings, and one-on-one reviews into one-on-one coaching. The insights generated can empower the organization’s team to maximize its performance by tapping the potential of the individual member and inspiring them to deliver their best. Have we ever wondered what would be our best state of performance at individual’s level in every area of life ? In the current external environment where everything is so stressed and competitive, how do we create an internal state of performance which is ideal for any individual. Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz has mentioned about this in one of the article about life and performance of athletes. however lets understand what is ideal state of performance and how one can reach there. In order to get there lets dissect this terminology of “Ideal Performance State”. Ideal : An Ideal is something aspirational. An ideal is a model of something perfect or without equal. As an adjective, ideal describes this ultimate standard for excellence. This is the level which one would like to achieve and admire to be there. Performance : performance is like DOING something, the act of doing something, such as your job. Performing any task or duty or work which you want to be known for or even life. State : State is like being. State is he particular condition that someone or something is in at a specific time. So in summary to being in an ultimate standard of performance in any task which one would aspire to be can be a simple understanding of IPS. Generally very few people are able to reach at IPS like athletes who break the records and won medals for nation or few CEOs or entrepreneurs etc. In general we are surrounded by too many interference's and hardly reach to the ideal level of our performance. If it is too hard to reach ideal level of performance, how can one be in the ideals performance state for a continuous time ? Yes, it is possible and one need to create a system to reach there. While it isn’t always in our power to change our external conditions, we can train to better manage our inner state. There is a system of life activities which need to be created consciously which can take one to its Ideal Performance state. Obviously, executives can perform successfully even if they smoke, drink and weigh too much, or lack emotional skills or a higher purpose for working. But they cannot perform to their full potential or without a cost over time—to themselves, to their families, and to the corporations for which they work. Put simply, the best long-term performers tap into positive energy at all levels of the performance pyramid. Extensive research in sports science has confirmed that the capacity to mobilize energy on demand is the foundation of IPS. There are four pillars to the Ideal Performance State : Physical Strength : Good physical State is the foundation of ideal performance. One has to maintain healthy habits to get right energy level to perform any task at its best. Being physically fit is the starting point because a small discomfort in body can create mental and emotional disturbance. The physical capacity is get built with lot of rituals which not only includes right eating and exercising but also like sleeping and energy recovery rituals. Healthy habits includes eating right, eating on time, balanced diet, enough water intact, physically active, going to bed to time consistently and waking up early as daily ritual, regular exercise and have a recovery rituals for every hour or two in between. This will ensure remaining physically good state. Emotional Strength: Next important block for ideal state is keeping emotion at best. While the positive emotions ignite lot of energy, the negative emotions drains lot of energy. If someone continuously remain in emotionally toxic environment it can create permanent imbalance. One need to transform one’s inner experience to convert this threats in to challenges. Build endurance through regular exercise and become aware of signals from ones body. Music has powerful physiological and emotional effect. Music gives us relief from obsessive thinking and worrying. Close relationship is another powerful means to boots positive emotions and effective recovery of emotions. The happy family, relations and friends induces lot of positive emotions by way of profound sense of safety and security. Mental Strength : The third important block of ideal performance is keeping mental balance and strengths to its best level. Meditation is one of the traditional practice which can serve as most practical means of training attention and promoting recovery. Good breathing exercise help colling down mind and recharge whole body. A regular meditation, quiets the mind, the emotions, and the body and promote energy. One may need to create few meditative rituals and encourage positive thinking to increase the likelihood of accessing the ideal performance. Spiritual Strength : The forth important block of the ideal performance is spiritual connection which helps purity in heart and intention. By spiritual strength means the energy that is unleashed by tapping in to one’s deepest values and defining a strong sense of purpose. Rituals that give people the opportunity to pause and look inside include meditation, journal writing, prayer and serving others, connecting with some social cause and self-less acts etc. high performance depends as much on how people renew and recover energy as on how they expend it, on how they manage their lives as much as on how they manage their work. When people feel strong and resilient–physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually–they perform better, with more passion, for longer. They win, their families win, and the corporations that employ them win. Connect for more to Coach Sunil K. I heard from many people this statement that I love perfection or I am a perfectionist. People says that they complete every task they do with complete perfection. Often one may have noticed that one can reach 80 to 90% of perfection with 50 to 60% of efforts and last 10 to 20% of perfection needs a lot of time and efforts to reach. At times it creates lot of stress to reach the last stage of perfection. When we run behind the perfection, often it creates stress and we start missing the joy of doing something and performing. But other way round if we enjoy whatever we are doing and keep improving it with joy, very soon we may reach to perfection. State of happiness or joyfulness in whatever you do make you better and raise your interest in improvement rather than forcing you to do something which creates pressure on your life. A visionary said, When we are joyful, we do not look for perfection. If you are looking for perfection then you are not at the source of joy. Joy is the realisation that there is no vacation from wisdom. The world appears imperfect on the surface but underneath, all is perfect. Perfection hides ; imperfection shows off. The wise will not dwell on the surface but will probe in to the depths. The things you see are not blurred; it is your vision that is blurred. Infinite actions exist in the wholeness of consciousness, and yet consciousness remain perfect, untouched. Author Iddo Landau has written a book titled Finding Meaning in an Imperfect World. Landau argues that people misunderstand what a meaningful life truly is. Some people have a tendency to fall into despair. They observe the vastness of the universe and conclude that their lives are inconsequential. Others compare their lives to famous people and figure they failed to achieve much. The mistake people make, according to Landau, is that a meaningful life need not be a perfect life. People fail to see the value in an ordinary life. We should not beat ourselves up for failing to attain lofty goals. Rather, we should celebrate the “value of an ordinary life well lived. In the same way you don’t have to become a monk or nun to be a good Christian, you don’t have to be a Shakespeare or Rockefeller to lead a good life. Perfect implies 100% success, every time. And life just doesn’t work that way. You’re going to make mistakes and you’re going to suffer setbacks. You are going to find yourself “falling down” or sometimes having to make sacrifices in certain areas of your life. Whatever gives you joy is a powerful sign showing you what you need to have MORE of in your life in order to be truly happy and fulfilled. So get clear on what experiences give you joy, and look for ways to add more of it into your personal and professional life — and you will be a lot happier and also your performance and outcome will be much better when you will have joy around you. So while you would like to reach perfection, enjoy the journey and enjoy your work. Be conscious that when you do something joyfully it becomes better every day and you accomplish better every day, whether it is life or profession. Enjoy the journey and enjoy the better-ness over bitterness of stress.

“The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality.” Reality is the difference between what we wish for and what it is. It may take some time for anyone who want to accept reality but once start engaging with reality you start solving problems and lead to learning from your mistakes. We make realistic thinking the foundation of our business because we derive certainty and security from it. WHY REALISTIC THINKING ? If you’re a naturally optimistic person, you may not possess great desire to become a more realistic thinker. But cultivating the ability to be realistic in your thinking will not undermine your faith in people, nor will it and seize opportunities. Instead, it will add value to you in other ways: 1. To Minimize Downside Risk Calculated risk make you strong against unforeseen events. Actions always have consequences; realistic thinking helps you to determine what those consequences could be. And that’s crucial, because only by recognizing and considering consequences can you plan for them. If you plan for the worst-case scenario, you can minimize the downside risk. 2. Realistic Thinking Gives You a Target and Game Plan The good news about highly optimistic people is they are very positive and have a high degree of hope for everything. Here’s the bad news: hope is not a strategy. Realistic thinking leads to excellence in leadership and life because it requires people to face reality. They begin to define their target and develop a game plan to hit it. When people engage in realistic thinking, they also begin to simplify practices and procedures, which results in better efficiency. It improves focus on important topics in business and life. 3. Realistic Thinking Is a Catalyst for Change People who rely on hope for their success rarely make change a high priority. If you have only hope, you imply that achievement and success are out of your hands. It’s a matter of luck or chance. Why bother changing? Realistic thinking can dispel that kind of wrong attitude. There’s nothing like staring reality in the face to make a person recognize the need for change. Change alone doesn’t bring growth but you cannot have growth without change. 4. Realistic Thinking Provides Security Any time you have thought through the worst that can happen and you have developed contingency plans to meet it, you become more confident and secure. It’s reassuring to know that you are unlikely to be surprised. Disappointment is the difference between expectations and reality. Realistic thinking minimizes the difference between the two. 5. Gives You Credibility Realistic thinking helps people to buy in to the leader and his or her vision. Leaders continually surprised by the unexpected soon lose credibility with their followers. On the other hand, leaders who think realistically and plan accordingly position their organizations to win. That gives their people confidence in them. The best leaders ask realistic questions before casting vision. They ask themselves things like: Does this dream include everyone or just a few? Have I identified and articulated the areas that will make this dream difficult to achieve? 6. Provides a Foundation to Build On The bottom line on realistic thinking is that it helps you to make an idea usable by taking away the “wish” factor. Most ideas and efforts don’t accomplish their intended results because they rely too much on what we wish rather than what is. You can’t build a house in mid-air; it needs a solid foundation. Ideas and plans are the same. They need something concrete on which to build. Realistic thinking provides that solid foundation. 7. Realistic Thinking Is a Friend to Those in Trouble If creativity is what you would do if you were unafraid of the possibility of failure, then reality is dealing with failure if it does happen. Realistic thinking gives you something concrete to fall back on during times of trouble, which can be very reassuring. Certainty in the midst of uncertainty brings stability. 8. Realistic Thinking Brings the Dream to Fruition If you don’t get close enough to a problem, you can’t tackle it. If you don’t take a realistic look at your dream—and what it will take to accomplish it—you will never achieve it. Realistic thinking helps to pave the way for bringing any dream to fruition. To summarise Realistic thinking is not a pessimistic thinking but it’s a more sound thinking with proper foundation to reach the target state. It gives a solid base to any creative thinking to come in to reality i.e. not only staying in dreams and hopes which may fail some time but including risks and mitigation in plan. So while we be creative, also stay on ground and ensure that those creations are brought to reality. (Inspired by “How Successful People Think.”)

It happens with all of us at different point of time and the degree of effect may vary with each of us. Short-term issues can require us to temporarily change course: If you have some personal loss in family or If you’ve lost your job, you urgently need income as you may be only bread earner in family. You may have personal responsibilities at home, if in-person schooling isn’t available, someone has to stay home and supervise virtual learning for kids. There may be some dependents in family and if you’re the primary caregiver to a family member, you need to secure flexibility for responsibilities at home. Prioritizing these short-term concerns over long-term goals, while painful, may be necessary right now. But a temporary detour from your professional path doesn’t mean you have to put aside your ambitions. You can regain control over your life and career arc with some mindfulness and introspection. Few pointers to look into : 1. Re-frame the situation; There are always two sides of coin. Visualize the positive side of coin. Even if you’re not advancing toward your professional aspirations right now, you’re still making a difference and providing value in other areas of your life. Feel happy about it and motivate yourself for all the good things happening in life. Those good things will be stepping stone to build further better things in other aspects of your life including career directions. 2. Explore new options; The options emerge when you look for them actively. Never accept the situation without exploring all the best possible options available. For example, the WFH boom has led many organizations to provide more flexible work arrangements. Express what you want; most offers can be discussed and negotiated. 3. Allocate some time toward your goals; It may not seem significant to spend three minutes sending email or reading a few articles on a topic you’re interested in. You may watch some expert videos or pick some book to engage in between. These little investments adds up and boost your knowledge as well strengthen your path for future growth. 4. Stay in connect and build network; It may be small investment daily but to stay connected with your professional network and also others who you feel can help and guide in future in case of need. A small investment of time every day will keep alive a lot of roads for you to take in future. A small networking mail, reply to some mail or just check on call or a message will keep you connected with your network. You may even build new network by reaching out some of the people you think will be helpful to you in professional journey. There are many dimensions of life. If one dimension is not moving doesn’t mean the whole life got stuck. The life still grows with seeding in multiple ways. There may be a temporary stall in one of the area of life, do not get stuck with that only one area but explore the other areas of your life to make them grow and with time you will grow overall in multi-dimensional way. Keep growing even if you felt it is slower or getting obstacles and find meaning in different ways to keep yourself motivated. . (Inspired from HBR Daily)

Uncertainty is unavoidable. As a Person rather than as Leader or manager, you need to be prepared to lead yourself and your team through murky waters, but doing so requires getting in the right mindset yourself. Here are few pointer to help one be conscious of situation and not only go through the uncertainty but shift the perspective and become resilient and grow through these uncertain times : 1. Embrace the discomfort of not knowing. Move from a know-it-all to a learn-it-all mindset. You don’t need to have all the answers. However keep the curiosity mind alive and learn as you go through this uncertain times. 2. Distinguish between "complicated" and "complex" issues. They require different solutions. If a problem is complex, it means that it has many components. Complexity does not evoke difficulty. On the other hand, complicated refers to a high level of difficulty. If a problem is complicated, there might be or might not be many parts but it will certainly take a lot of hard work to solve 3. Let go of perfectionism. Instead, aim for progress, expect mistakes, and recognize that you have the ability to continually course correct as needed. Many a times last ten percent of perfection requires eighty percent of time and one may loose many important things to attend in that time hence let it be eighty to ninety percent perfect and focus on moving forward with progress. 4. Resist the urge to oversimplify and come to quick conclusions. Take a disciplined approach to understanding both the complexity of the situation and your own biases. Many a times we assume the topic to be very simple and move forward without due weight-age, we must understand it well without personal biases. 5. Don’t go it alone. Connect with your friends if its a personal topic and peers in case of work, who have their own set of experiences and perspectives to draw from. Uncertain time requires more collaborative approach and critical group thinking on many complex and critical topics hence involve related expert and make it inclusive. Zoom out.Taking a broad, systemic view of the issues at hand can reveal unexamined assumptions that would otherwise be invisible. Have some external views and look the thinks from both inside as well outside view.Get in to depth understand each thread of it well before reaching to any solution. (Inspired by HBR daily)

To gain the power of strategic thinking it’s not specialist task, anyone can empower himself or herself with this and can become a better strategic thinker. If you wish to be able to formulate and implement plans that will achieve the desired objective, you may consider the following pointers to practice: 1. Break Down the problem in to smaller pieces Any problem which looks too big can still be solved easily if you break it in to small pieces and the big problem will become multiple small problems. The first step in strategic thinking is to break down an issue into smaller, more manageable parts so that you can focus on them more effectively. That’s what automotive innovator Henry Ford did when he created the assembly line, and that’s why he said, “Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs. How you break down an issue is up to you, whether it’s by function, timetable, responsibility, purpose, or some other method. The point is that you need to break it down. 2. Start with Why before you think of How Most of the people often make the mistake of jumping the gun and trying immediately to figure out how to accomplish the objective. Instead of asking how, they should first ask why. If you jump right into problem solving mode, how are you going to know all the issues? Thousands of engineers can design bridges or buildings, but the great engineer is the man who can tell whether the bridge or the building should be built at all, where it should be built, and when and why. Asking why helps you to think about all the reasons for decisions. It helps you to open your mind to possibilities and opportunities. 3. Define the problem right William Feather, author of The Business of Life, said, “Before it can be solved, a problem must be clearly defined.” Too many people rush to solutions, and as a result they end up solving the wrong problem. To avoid that, ask probing questions to expose the real issues. Challenge all of your assumptions. Collect information, you may not want to jump to a conclusion before you gather enough information to What else could be the real issue? Discovering your real situation and objectives is a major part of the battle. Once you identify and define the problem right, the solutions are easy to find. 4. Be mindful of your Resources In life or profession, you will never be working infinite resources. You will always have some or other limitations. A strategy that doesn’t take into account resources is doomed to failure. Be mindful about, How much time do you have? How much money? What kinds of materials, supplies, or inventory do you have? What are your other assets? What liabilities or obligations will come into play? What is your team size, who can make an impact? You know your own organization and profession. Figure out what resources you have at your disposal and in case of need where the support will come from. 5. Develop Your Plan How you approach the planning process depends greatly on your profession and the size of the challenge that you’re planning to tackle, so it’s difficult to recommend many specifics. However, no matter how you go about planning, take this advice: start with the obvious. When you tackle an issue or plan that way, it brings unity and consensus to the team, because everyone sees those things. Obvious elements build mental momentum and initiate creativity and intensity. The best way to create a road to the complex is to build on the fundamentals. 6. Put the Right People in the Right Place When you are working as professional or in an bigger organisation, It’s critical that you include your team as part of your strategic thinking. Before you can implement your plan, you must make sure that you have the right people in place. Even the best strategic thinking won’t help if you don’t take into account the people part of the equation. Everything comes together, however, when you put together all three elements: the right person, the right place, and the right plan. 7. Strategic thinking is a repetitive Process Strategic thinking is like your daily routine, you have to keep doing it. If you expect to solve any major problem once in a while, you may land in to a disappointment. Little things can be won easily through systems and personal discipline. But major issues need major strategic thinking time. If you want to be an effective strategic thinker, then you need to become a continuous strategic thinker. One can move the wall in positive direction, One can create a new nation, one can create a billionaire business and raise the empire. That’s what can happen when you unleash the power of strategic thinking. Inspired by How Successful People Think.

Strategic thinking helps me to plan, to become more efficient, to maximize my strengths, and to find the most direct path toward achieving any objective. The benefits of strategic thinking are numerous. Here are a few of the reasons you should adopt it as one of your thinking tools: 1. Strategic Thinking Simplifies the Difficult Strategic thinking is really nothing more than planning on steroids. Spanish novelist Miguel de Cervantes said, “The man who is prepared has his battle half fought.” Strategic thinking takes complex issues and long-term objectives, which can be very difficult to address, and breaks them down into manageable sizes. Anything becomes simpler when it has a plan! Strategic thinking can also help you simplify the management of everyday life. I do that by using systems, which are nothing more than good strategies repeated. Just about any difficult task can be made simpler with strategic thinking. 2. Strategic Thinking Prompts You to Ask the Right Questions Do you want to break down complex or difficult issues? Then ask questions. Strategic thinking forces you through this process. Take a look at the following questions Direction: What should we do next? Why? Organization: Who is responsible for what? Who is responsible for whom? Do we have the right people in the right places? Cash: What is our projected income, expense, net? Can we afford it? How can we afford it?” Tracking: Are we on target? How are our KPIs reflecting? Refinement: How can we be more effective and more efficient (move toward the ideal)? These may not be the only questions you need to ask to begin formulating a strategic plan, but they are certainly a good start. 3. Strategic Thinking Prompts Customization “Successful people make plans to fit circumstances, but do not try to create circumstances to fit plans.” All good strategic thinkers are precise in their thinking. They try to match the strategy to the problem, because strategy isn’t a one-size-fits-all proposition. Sloppy or generalized thinking is an enemy of achievement. The intention to customize in strategic thinking forces a person to go beyond vague ideas and engage in specific ways to go after a task or problem. It sharpens the mind. 4. Strategic Thinking Prepares You Today for an Uncertain Tomorrow Strategic thinking is the bridge that links where you are to where you want to be. It gives direction and credibility today and increases your potential for success tomorrow. It is, like saddling your dreams before you ride them. 5. Strategic Thinking Reduces the Margin of Error Any time you shoot from the hip or go into a totally reactive mode, you increase your margin for error. It’s like a golfer stepping up to a golf ball and hitting it before lining up the shot. Misaligning a shot by just a few degrees can send the ball a hundred yards off target. Strategic thinking, however, greatly reduces that margin for error. It lines up your actions with your objectives, just as lining up a shot in golf helps you to put the ball closer to the pin. The better aligned you are with your target, the better the odds that you will be going in the right direction. 6. Strategic Thinking Gives You Influence with Others One executive confided in another: “Our company has a short range plan and a long range plan. Our short range plan is to stay afloat long enough to make it to our long range plan.” That’s hardly a strategy, yet that’s the position where some business leaders put themselves. There’s more than one problem with neglecting strategic thinking in that way. Not only does it fail to build the business, but it also loses the respect of everyone involved with the business. The one with the plan is the one with the power. It doesn’t matter in what kind of activity you’re involved. Employees want to follow the business leader with a good business plan. Volunteers want to join the pastor with a good ministry plan. Children want to be with the adult who has the well-thought-out vacation plan. If you practice strategic thinking, others will listen to you and they will want to follow you. If you possess a position of leadership in an organization, strategic thinking is essential. Even to have best outcome of life, it is best of have strategy for life events, starting from career to retirement to family etc. Inspired by “How Successful People Think.”.

“Most people spend more time planning their summer vacation than planning their lives.” —SOURCE UNKNOWN When you hear the words “strategic thinking,” what comes to mind? Do the visions of business plans dance in your head? Do you conjure up marketing plans, the kind that can turn a company around? Perhaps you contemplate global politics. Or you recall some of history’s greatest military campaigns: The war of Panipat or Hannibal crossing the Alps to surprise the Roman army, Alexander’s invasion to India and War with Porus. Or some Business strategies like Amazon or Google or Reliance Jio. Perhaps, but strategy doesn’t have to be restricted to military action—or even to business. Strategic thinking can make a positive impact on any area of life. PLAN YOUR LIFE, LIVE YOUR PLAN It is observed that most people try to plan their lives one day at a time or at most some new year resolutions of which 80% fails before they come to end. They wake up, make up their to-do list, and dive into action (although some people aren’t even that strategic). Fewer individuals plan their lives one week at a time. They review their calendar for the week, check their appointments, review their goals, and then get to work. They generally outachieve most of their daily-planning colleagues. I try to take planning one step further. Have you ever seen anyone preparing trajectory of life by planning. Although everything may not happen as it is planned at the beginning however any plan need course correction as you move forward towards executions. Having a big picture in mind is very important otherwise where ever you land in life is the point you need to accept as destiny. The good thing is to visualise as strategic thinker as how you want to shape your life and what are the key mile stones and put the decisive action plan in place to reach those mile stone. I have learned a lot from corporate world and I always try to adopt these tools and techniques in personal life. May it be creating a vision or purpose and deriving an action plan out of it and then finally reaching each mile-stone by design or taking a corrective action when needed and more importantly accepting failure gracefully and learning out it and creating new plan to reach to destination. John C Maxwell mentioned : At the beginning of every month, I spend half a day working on my calendar for the next forty days. Forty days works for me rather than just thirty. That way, I get a jump on the next month and don’t get surprised. I begin by reviewing my travel schedule and planning activities with my family. Then I review what projects, lessons, and other objectives I want to accomplish during those five to six weeks. Then I start blocking out days and times for thinking, writing, working, meeting with people, etc. I set times to do fun things, such as seeing a show, watching a ball game, or playing golf. I also set aside small blocks of time to compensate for the unexpected. By the time I’m done, I can tell you nearly everything I’ll be doing, almost hour by hour, during the coming weeks. This strategy is one of the reasons I have been able to accomplish much. Similar way I keep the next year broad plan in consideration while designing the calendar for the year. Generally in my professional life also we practice to freeze our leave calendar for next full year before end of previous year November and by and large able to follow as team. This helps plan the life in much better way. You can plan the important event in much thoughtful manner except few short term needs. One must strategically prepare the career plan for next three to five years and family and personal plans in the similar way so that you are almost well placed strategically in life having your vision and final destination at target. If you haven’t try this yet you may attempt this and I am confident you will fill the difference with strategic thinking. Inspired with “How Successful People Think.”

With all said and done, the important question, which get stuck in mind is, how does one activate creative thinking in life and work and enjoy fun with intelligence. You may be wondering, “Okay, we are convinced that creative thinking is important, But how do I find the creativity within me? Here are few easy ways to practice it: 1. Ask the Right Questions Creativity is largely a matter of asking the right questions. Wrong questions shut down the process of creative thinking. They direct thinkers down the same old path, or they chide them into believing that thinking isn’t necessary at all. To stimulate creative thinking, ask yourself right questions such as : Why must it be done this way? What does this remind me of? What is the opposite? Who has a different perspective on this? What happens if we don’t do it at all? This means you are challenging the status quo by asking right questions and spotting the answers for them which will activate a new line of options within you. You get the idea—and you can probably come up with better questions yourself. Physicist Tom Hirschfield said: “If you don’t ask, ‘Why this?’ often enough, somebody will ask, ‘Why you?’ that’s why you must ask good questions. You must challenge the process. Slowly creativity will emerge as process. 2. Develop a Creative Environment Negative environments kill thousands of great ideas every minute. A new idea is delicate. It can be killed by a yawn; or by a blink of eye. A Creative environment on the other side is like a incubation centre or a greenhouse where you seed the ideas and things start taking shape and grow over a period. A creative environment: Encourages Creativity: When innovation and good thinking are openly encouraged and rewarded, then people see that they have permission to be creative. Creativity places a High Value on Trust among Team Members and Individuality: Creativity always risks failure. That’s why trust is so important to creative people. Is Willing to Let People Go Outside the Lines: Most people automatically stay within lines, even if those lines have been arbitrarily drawn or are terribly out of date. Remember, most limitations we face are not imposed on us by others; we place them on ourselves Appreciates the Power of a Dream: A creative environment promotes the freedom of a dream. A creative environment encour “ages the use of a blank sheet of paper and the question, “If we could draw a picture of what we want to accomplish, what would that look like?” 3. Remove Creativity Killers We valued the warmth of creativity over cold facts. If you do too, then you need to eliminate attitudes that devalue creative thinking. Take a look at the following phrases. They are almost guaranteed to kill creative thinking any time you hear (or think) them: like Don’t Ask Questions, Don’t Be Different, There Is Only One Way, Be Practical, That’s Not Logical, It’s Not Practical, We Tried That Before, We Can’t Afford to Make a Mistake, Yes, But…etc. so on so forth. If you think you have a great idea, don’t let anyone talk you out of it even if it sounds foolish. Don’t let yourself or anyone else subject you to creativity killers. After all, you can’t do something new and exciting if you force yourself to stay in the same old rut. Don’t just work harder at the same old thing. Make a change. 1. Spend Time with Other Creative People At times you get stuck in environment which is not in your control but there are few things you can do to keep yourself going in right direction. What if the place you work has an environment hostile to creativity, and you possess little ability to change it? One possibility is to change jobs. But what if you desire to keep working there despite the negative environment? Your best option is to find a way to spend time with other creative people. Creativity is contagious. Have you ever noticed what happens during a good brainstorming session? One person throws out an idea. Another person uses it as a springboard to discover another “idea. Someone else takes it in yet another, even better direction. Then somebody grabs hold of it and takes it to a whole new level. The interplay of ideas can be electric. It’s a fact that you begin to think like the people you spend a lot of time with. The more time you can spend with creative people engaging in creative activities, the more creative you will become. 5. Get Out of Your Box Out of box thinking doesn’t mean you need to necessarily break rules but break the boundaries of your thinking. Creative thinkers know that they must repeatedly break out of the “box” of their own history and personal limitations in order to experience creative breakthroughs. The most effective way to help yourself get One way you can do that is by traveling to new places. Explore other cultures, countries, and traditions. Find out how people very different from you live and think. Another is to read on new subjects. If you want to break out of your own box, get into somebody’s else’s. Read broadly. Many people mistakenly believe that if individuals aren’t born with creativity, they will never be creative. But you can see from the many strategies and examples I’ve given that creativity can be cultivated in the right supportive environment.” Inspire from, “How Successful People Think.”.

Creativity is something which have influence the quality of the life one lives. A creative thinking can influence your life in various ways and few of them to understand are: 1. Come forward and Add Value to Everything Whatever you do and get involve to, you will have an opportunity to add value. The question may be how? When you start learning and practicing creative thinking you will have limitless reservoir of ideas those can be reflect and draw at any point of time. In whatever profession or area you are it enhances your capabilities in that profession. Creativity is like innovation where you are able to see what others are not able to see and you are able to do which others feel difficult to attain. Because you always believe in doing the things in newer way even if it is the same thing. It is like seeing the world with fresh eyes and exploring the unexplored, so that new solutions appear. That always adds value. 2. Compounding effect on your thoughts Learning and Practicing Creative Thinking Is Hard Work but Creative Thinking Compounds Given Enough Time and Focus Creative thinking is like nature of knowledge which increases with every sharing or usage. As you use or share knowledge it increases by itself. Similar way Creativeness of a person never exhaust, as you use more and more creative thinking, it builds on itself and increases the creativity of the thinker. The more you use, the more you have. Sadly, too often creativity is smothered rather than nurtured. There has to be a climate in which new ways of thinking, perceiving, questioning are encouraged. If you cultivate creative thinking in an environment that nurtures creativity, there’s no telling what kind of ideas you can come up with. 3. Creative Thinking Attract People to You and Your Ideas Creativity is having fun with Intelligence. Who don’t like to have fun, everyone like fun and at the same time people admire intelligence so when you combine Intelligence with fun it become adorable combination. People will attract towards you to have fun and also admire your intelligence and this is all possible because of your creative thinking. If you cultivate creativity, you will become more attractive to other people, and they will be drawn to you. 4. Creative Thinking Helps You Learn More Being Creative means not having all the answers but ability to generate more options to think and look at any problem from different angle to generate a wide range of solutions. The joy of not knowing everything is that it encourage us to learn more and refers to the realisation that we seldom if ever have all the answers. Author and creativity expert Ernie Zelinski says, “Creativity is the joy of not knowing it all. It almost seems too obvious to say, but if you are always actively seeking new ideas, you will learn. Creativity is teachability. It’s seeing more solutions than problems. And the greater the quantity of thoughts, the greater the chance for learning something new. 5. You dare to Challenges the Status Quo If you are able to learn more and learn to get wide range of solution for any problem, you will be able to challenge life with different perspective. If you desire to improve your world—or even your own situation—then creativity will help you. The status quo and creativity are incompatible. Creativity and innovation always walk hand in hand. “The joy is in creating, not maintaining.” —VINCE LOMBARDI, “Creativity is pure gold, no matter what you do for a living. Annette Moser-Wellman, author of The Five Faces of Genius, asserts, “The most valuable asset and resource you add to your life is your creativity which you can use both in work as well to keep yourself motivated throughout motivated in different ways. Have you ever thought as what is more important is it getting things done or activating creating thinking of people with whom you work ? Actually, more than what you get done, more than the role you play, more than your title, more than your ‘output’—it’s your ideas that matter. And the Ideas take birth because of your creative thinking attitude and habit which you develop. Despite the importance of a person’s ability to think with creativity, few people seem to possess the skill in abundance. There is also some misconception with people who mislead the creative thinking with original thinking. Creative thinking isn’t necessarily original thinking. In fact, I think people mythologize original thought. If you’re not as creative as you would like to be, you can change your way of thinking. Most often, creative thinking is a composite of other thoughts discovered along the way. Even the great artists, whom we consider highly original, learned from their masters, modelled their work on that of others, and brought together a host of ideas and styles to create their own work. There is a term which called synthetic creative thinking which means you create and build something on existing thoughts. Study art, and you will see threads that run through the work of all artists and artistic movements, connecting them to other artists who went before them. FIND A CREATIVE THINKER IN YOU Perhaps you’re not even aware as how creative you are or is there a creative thinker insider you ? To start with and challenge yourself, at first it is important to know how creative you are ? Let me challenge with some questions which you can through to yourself to understand it in more constructive way Do you embrace Failures and learn ? Creativity demands courage. Courage to explore and the ability to be unafraid of failure because creativity equals failure. You have to be anxious to know more and do more and explore something different. Charles Frankel asserts that “anxiety is the essential condition of intellectual and artistic creation.” Creativity requires a willingness to look stupid. It means getting out on a limb—knowing that the limb often breaks! Creative people know these things and still keep searching for new ideas. They just don’t let the ideas that don’t work prevent them from coming up with more ideas and finally those work. Do you have that courage ? Do you embrace New Ideas and Value them ? You will have in abundance what you will value. Creativity is about having ideas—lots of them. You will have ideas only if you value ideas. .Annette Moser-Wellman observes, “Highly creative people are dedicated to new ideas. They don’t rely on their talent alone; they rely on their discipline. If you don’t compliment your knowledge and intellectual with new ideas, it can drain very fast. For creative people, their imagination is like a second skin. They know how to manipulate it to its fullest. Are you open to Explore Options Life always comes with questions and opportunities. When you are challenged by life do you try exploring new options or do you try to stay in box. Finding out multiple options is like giving birth to creativity in whatever you do. I’ve yet to meet a creative thinker who didn’t love options. Exploring a multitude of possibilities helps to stimulate the imagination, and imagination is crucial to creativity. As Albert Einstein put it, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Options provide the key to finding the best answer—not the only answer. You can reach to best answer only when you evaluate multiple options. Good thinkers come up with the best answers. They create back-up plans that provide them with alternatives. They enjoy freedom that others do not possess. And they will influence and lead others. Are you one who Embrace Ambiguity ? Ambiguous situations give us room to think out of box. Creative people don’t feel the need to stamp out uncertainty. They see all kinds of inconsistencies and gaps in life, and they often take delight in exploring those gaps—or in using their imagination to fill them in.” Do you often Celebrate the Offbeat ? Standards are good but opposite to Creativity. Creativity, by its very nature, often explores off of the beaten path and goes against the grain. Do you willingly take a path never explored to follow the past? To foster creativity in yourself or others, be willing to tolerate a little oddness. Are you able Connect the Unconnected Life is built on various knots and at times you need to connect the unconnected dots. Because creativity utilizes the ideas of others, there’s great value in being able to connect one idea to another—especially to seemingly unrelated ideas. Creating additional thoughts is like taking a trip in your car. You may not know where you are going, your road may be full of fog and vision is distracted, but only as you move toward your destination can you see and experience things in a way not possible before you started. Do a quick check and find are you one among them, or you are a pack of standard life. If you feel lack of any of these we will come back with some valuable insight as how being creative is important in life and how you can built on these qualities thread by thread. Stay connected. If you desire to seize new opportunities and open new horizons, then you need to add big-picture thinking to your abilities. To become a good thinker better able to see the big picture, keep in mind the following suggestions: 1. Don’t Strive for Certainty Big-picture thinkers are comfortable with ambiguity. They don’t try to force every observation or piece of data into pre-formulated mental cubby holes. They think broadly and can juggle many seemingly contradictory thoughts in their minds. If you want to cultivate the ability to think big picture, then you must get used to embracing and dealing with complex and diverse ideas. 2. Learn from Every Experience Big-picture thinkers broaden their outlook by striving to learn from every experience. They don’t rest on their successes, they learn from them. More importantly, they learn from their failures. They can do that because they remain teachable. Varied experiences—both positive and negative—help you see the big picture. The greater the variety of experience and success, the more potential to learn you have. If you desire to be a big-picture thinker, then get out there and try a lot of things, take a lot of chances, and take time to learn after every victory or defeat. 3. Gain Insight from a Variety of People Big-picture thinkers learn from their experiences. But they also learn from experiences they don’t have. That is, they learn by receiving insight from others—from customers, employees, colleagues, and leaders. If you desire to broaden your thinking and see more of the big picture, then seek out counsellors to help you. But be wise in whom you ask for advice. Gaining insight from a variety of people doesn’t mean stopping anyone and everyone in hallways and grocery store lines and asking what they think about a given subject. Be selective. Talk to people who know and care about you, who know their field, and who bring experience deeper and broader than your own.” “4. Give Yourself Permission to Expand Your World If you want to be a big-picture thinker, you will have to go against the flow of the world. Society wants to keep people in boxes. Most people are married mentally to the status quo. They want what was, not what can be. They seek safety and simple answers. To think big-picture, you need to give yourself permission to go a different way, to break new ground, to find new worlds to conquer. And when your world does get bigger, you need to celebrate. Never forget there is more out there in the world than what you’ve experienced. Keep learning, keep growing, and keep looking at the big picture! If you desire to be a good thinker, that’s what you need to do. Thinking Question Am I thinking beyond myself and my world so that I process ideas with a holistic perspective?” Excerpt From: John C. Maxwell. “How Successful People Think.”

“Where success is concerned, people are not measured in inches, or pounds, or college degrees, or family background; they are measured by the size of their thinking.” —DAVID SCHWARTZ Big-picture thinking can benefit any person in any profession. It is very important in life and career as how you look at things and problem and opportunities and how you adopt situation fast. Like I quoted in earlier edition, “You have to think anyway, so why not think big?” Big-picture thinking brings wholeness and maturity to a person’s thinking. It brings perspective. It’s like making the frame of a picture bigger, in the process expanding not only what you can see, but what you are able to do. When you Spend time with big-picture thinkers, and you will additionally find that they: “Look Expansively Writer Henry David Thoreau wrote, “Many an object is not seen, though it falls within the range of our visual ray, because it does not come within the range of our intellectual ray.” Human beings habitually see their own world first. For example, when people arrive at a leadership conference put on by my company, they want to know where they’re going to park, whether they will be able to get a good (and comfortable) seat, whether the speaker will be “on,” and if the breaks will be spaced right. When I arrive to speak at the same conference, I want to know that the lighting is good, the sound equipment is operating effectively, whether the speaker’s platform will be close enough to the people, etc. Who you are determines what you see—and how you think. Big-picture thinkers realize there is a world out there besides their own, and they make an effort to get outside of themselves and see other people’s ” “Live Completely French essayist Michel Eyquem de Montaigne wrote, “The value of life lies not in the length of days, but in the use we make of them; a man may live long yet live very little.” The truth is that you can spend your life any way you want, but you can spend it only once. Becoming a big-picture thinker can help you to live with wholeness, to live a very fulfilling life. People who see the big picture expand their experience because they expand their world. As a result, they accomplish more than narrow-minded people. And they experience fewer unwanted surprises, too, because they are more likely to see the many components involved in any given situation: issues, people, relationships, timing, and values. They are also, therefore, usually more tolerant of other people and their thinking.” Excerpt From: John C. Maxwell. “How Successful People Think.”.

“Where success is concerned, people are not measured in inches, or pounds, or college degrees, or family background; they are measured by the size of their thinking.” —DAVID SCHWARTZ Big-picture thinking can benefit any person in any profession. When somebody like Jack Welch tells a GE employee that the ongoing relationship with the customer is more important than the sale of an individual product, he’s reminding them of the big picture. When two parents are fed up with potty training, poor grades, or fender-benders, and one reminds the other that the current difficult time is only a temporary season, then they benefit from thinking big picture. Real estate developer Donald quipped, “You have to think anyway, so why not think big?” Big-picture thinking brings wholeness and maturity to a person’s thinking. It brings perspective. It’s like making the frame of a picture bigger, in the process expanding not only what you can see, but what you are able to do. Spend time with big-picture thinkers, and you will find that they: Learn Continually Big-picture thinkers are never satisfied with what they already know. They are always visiting new places, reading new books, meeting new people, learning new skills. And because of that practice, they often are able to connect the unconnected. They are lifelong learners. To help me maintain a learner’s attitude, I spend a few moments every morning thinking about my learning opportunities for the day. As I review my calendar and to-do list—knowing whom I will meet that day, what I will read, which meetings I will attend—I note where I am most likely to learn something. Then I mentally cue myself to look attentively for something that will improve me in that situation. If you desire to keep learning, I want to encourage you to examine your day and look for opportunities to learn. Listen Intentionally An excellent way to broaden your experience is to listen to someone who has expertise in an area where you don’t. I search for such opportunities. One year I spoke to about 900 coaches and scouts at the Senior Bowl, where graduating football players participate in their last college game. I had the opportunity, along with my son-in-law, Steve Miller, to have dinner with NFL head coaches Dave Wannstedt and Butch Davis. It’s not often that you get such an opportunity, so I asked them questions about teamwork and spent a lot of time listening to them. At the end of the evening, as Steve and I were walking to our car, he said to me, “John, I bet you asked those coaches a hundred questions tonight.” “If I’m going to learn and grow,” I replied, “I must know what questions to ask and know how to apply the answers to my life. Listening has taught me a lot more than talking.” When you meet with people, it’s good to have an agenda so that you can learn. It’s a great way Big-picture thinkers recognize that they don’t know lots of things. They frequently ask penetrating questions to enlarge their understanding and thinking. If you want to become a better big-picture thinker, then become a good listener.” Excerpt From: John C. Maxwell. “How Successful People Think

Thinking is in fact a skill which one can develop by learning. Thoughtful deliberation is an essential leadership quality that can help you make better decisions and produce better outcomes. However, it can also devolve into overthinking, which can be paralyzing. Here are few ways to avoid a thought spiral that can slow you down: Curb your perfectionism. Perfectionism is one of the biggest blockers to swift decision-making, because it operates on faulty all-or-nothing thinking. To curb this tendency, ask yourself questions like: What’s one thing I could do today to bring me closer to my goal? Or what’s the next step based on the information I have right now? Pay attention to your intuition. When it comes to difficult decisions, your gut reaction is often an important data point, particularly when time is short or when you don’t have all the information you need. Research shows that pairing intuition with analytical thinking helps you make better, faster, and more accurate decisions and gives you more confidence in your choices than relying on intellect alone. Construct creative constraints. Determine a date or time by which you’ll make a choice. Put it in your calendar, set a reminder on your phone, or even contact the person who’s waiting for your decision and let them know when they can expect to hear from you. We at times discuss and refer to someone and say that a colleague or friend is a “good thinker,” but this kind of statements are subjective and means something different to everyone. Everyone interpretate or understand this differently like for one it may having a high IQ, while someone else it may mean knowing a bunch of trivia or being able to figure out whodunit when reading a mystery novel. I believe that good thinking isn’t just one thing. It consists of several specific thinking skills. Becoming a good thinker means developing those skills to the best of your ability. It has no relevance whether you belongs to a rich father or poor father. It also has no relevance if you have gone through some tough things in life or had an easy ride so far. It has no reference if you are a highly educated Doctoral passed or an under graduate or matrix passed. It does no matter what your family upbringing has been and how your circumstances has been. You can learn to be a good thinker by engaging yourself into a process of practicing positive thinking every day. It’s a process of consciously engaging with yourself in thinking process systematically every day. “A visionary personality is like a great work of art. Think of a masterpiece designed buildings built in history like Notre Dame, Paris or Taj Mahal in Agra. Remind yourself a great and enduring book ever written like “Invisible man” or “A passage of India” or Shakespeare’s Henry V. Think of a great musical composition like “Symphony no.9” or “The four seasons”. You will not be able to point to any one single item that makes the whole thing work, It is the entire work i.e. each piece of the work when put together it made it great i.e all the pieces working together to create an overall effect—that leads to enduring greatness Great thinking habit is of similar creation where one puts all the beautiful pieces together to create a masterpiece for life. With developing a habit of conscious thinking you become the kind of person who can achieve great things in life and also become happy i.e. stress free success. Those pieces include the pieces for example and for reference are : Ø Big-Picture Thinking Ø Questioning the Popular Thinking Ø Creative Thinking Ø Possibility Thinking Ø Strategic Thinking Ø Bottom-Line Thinking Ø Reflective Thinking Ø Realistic Thinking Ø Focused Thinking Ø Shared Thinking Ø Unselfish Thinking These are the varied pieces of thinking which one can master over a period by practicing them consciously. That’s why learning conscious thinking makes a very important to be successful and remain happy. This helps us to understand as how to think. As you better understand each piece in deeper sense you start creating a masterpiece within yourself. There is nothing which impossible, there is a systematic which needs to be learn and practiced. This is called sculpturing our own future by developing these pieces one by one and putting them together. A lot more to follow….!
